We really need to nail this down. My top preference would be an earlier Sunday game since we have options for that. Golden Age would let us do Sundays and if we go 12:00 to 6:00 we can still do diner afterwards. Another possibility is Colvin Run in Great Falls, VA ( colvinrun.org/ ) which is a beautiful open space. They want $450 for 12:00 to 6:00 but when I said that's probably twice what we can do they asked if we wanted to make a counter proposal. Third possibility is Charles' house which is free and lets us keep Saturdays, but sounds like a less than ideal space. Thoughts?

I'm amenable to a Sunday game, but I'm concerned about sunday religious observances interfering with game attendance. That's really my only opposition to that, and Golden age is Tried and true.
My place isn't ideal as a gaming space right now, but we are willing to put in the resources to make it work. The biggest thing that's a problem so far is that Travis hates cats. (This is a joke, btw). We have tools that can mitigate that and a reasonable amount of outdoor space.
Colvin run sounds good, but I think we have better options at the moment.

Let's get a solid on this at game on Saturday. Maybe speak to some of the observant and see if they can do early services or if they're okay being a little late to game.

I have some input on this. 1) The public libraries in Prince George's County rent out community rooms to people. You can get a 35 person room for $50 per 2 hours. I really liked the community rooms at the South Bowie Branch. They have them on the second floor, so you don't have to worry about disrupting the library and the entrance to community rooms does not even go through the library. -- Some of the libraries in more rural counties might have cheaper space available 2) I recently had to buy an emergency portable air conditioner when my air conditioner broke down during the heat wave. So if we coupled that with an generator and heater, a lot of campsites and outdoor venues become more viable. 3) Games and Stuff has a huge game room that they will let small groups use for free and larger groups use for a price. I was not able to track down a price yet (the guy was not in), but I sent an email. 4) I did an internet search and is one place I found: www.evenues.com/meeting-space/decatur-place-room-Washington/16018

We're going with Golden Age, for those of you who weren't able to make it when we last met.
